Schiele & Klimt at Leopold Museum
A wonderful contrast between digital work and art was reached when this year’s WordCamp conference was held in Vienna at MuseumQuartz. Right there at the Leopold Museum a beautiful exhibition of work by Schiele took place.
Among the art, few peaces of his handwriting were on display, but what also appealed to me was the process of adjustment and transformation of his signature throughout the years. I have captured Schiele’s signature variations so you can see it’s form shift.
And more—Schiele as Lyricist
On display at Leopold Museum were also the originals of Schiele’s poems. These appear to be really well–thought as if they were a graphic design work—you can see his awareness of letter shapes as a system and layout composition.
